Since the beginning of 2006, hotel Thermia Palace has been undergoing a complex reconstruction. After the completion of all restoration works planned for December 20, 2006, this Art-Nouveau gem will be turned into the first five star spa hotel in Slovakia.

The connection with Irma Balneotherapy center provides excellent conditions for
both a spa stay and spa treatment in all seasons.
The renewed and fully air-conditioned Thermia Palace will offer 111 rooms, including 14 suites. The interior of the entire hotel was designed by Gina Zarski – an Austrian designer who decided to freshen up the old-time beauty of the hotel with a touch of modern spirit. The renovation works are under constant supervision of architect Ing.Gabriela Kvetanová from the Regional Monument Preservation Office. Restoration specialists are working hard to preserve the rich exterior and interior decorations - the reliefs, masks and façades, ceramic elements, paneling and stained glass – for present and future generations.
