REGION TURIEC
The beauty of the Turiec nature is just magic. That is why people often call it Turiec Back‑garden or Lost Paradise. The Veľká Fatra mountains with their valleys of Blatnica, Jasenska and Gader, then The Mala Fatra mountains with their peak named Krivan (“Crooked Peak”), Valley of Vratna, Waterfall of Sutovo and the separate ridge called Martinské hole, all these place afford a great deal of space for lots of unforgettable hikes or juts lazy ambles. There is a path leading from the mountain chain of Kremnicke vrchy straight across the exact geographical centre of mainland Europe down to the historical city of Kremnica (better known as Kremnitz). A number of interesting castles and strongholds are located here. Only some 15 kms from the spa lie the ruins of one of the smallest Slovak castles Zniev. Also the ancient castles Blatnica, Sklabina, and Strecno do deserve your attention. Just 1 km from the borough of Kremnicke bane is the geographical centre of mainland Europe. You will breathe in the fresh air of Turiec full of the rich history of those places. You can do anything you want. It’s all up to you!

  

LEISURE TIME
You can go for hikes, ride a bicycle, play golf, ride a horse, you can ski, enjoy fishing and even hunting. Right at the place you will find a perfectly equipped fitness centre, a restaurant with both day and night bars, a lounge where you can play billiard, chess, cards or other entertaining social games. A beautiful spa park with lots of precious trees stretches near the hotels inside the centre. Although you are welcome to walk here every day, you will not have enough time to familiarize yourself with all of its beauties and mysteries. There are regular entertainment events, concerts of both classical and mainstream popular music, variety shows, dancing evenings, and visits to theatre performances and galleries prepared for everyone who likes having a good time at valuable art performances and socializing with nice people.
