Bardejov at "Tour 2005" in Kosice

In 26th - 28th January 2005 the 11th unit of the biggest exhibition of tourist trade in Slovakia was held. It was called "Tour 2005" and it took place in Kosice´s House of Technology. Exhibition offered possibilities and services of travel agencies, information centres, restaurants, accommodation facilities and other organisations relative with tourist trade. Thre were 75 primary exhibitors and 141 representative firms. Bardejov participated the exhibition in collaboration with the Assosiation of Tourist Trade of Upper Saris region.

Bardejov was presented at this exhibiton by tourist information Centres of Bardejov and Bardejov spa (HERKULES). Our stand was under the auspices of SACR (Slovak Agency for Tourist Trade) also with towns Michalovce and Humenné. The beuty of out historical town and also accommodation possibilities in town and its surroundings were opened for general public (more than 13 000 visitors) by advertising sources. The biggest concern was over culture and history of Bardejov, Bardejov spa, over wooden churches, accommodation in Bardejov, over summer and winter leisure amenities. We are happy that visitors gave an indication about Bardejov and its surroundings and this should supply the development of tourist trade. This should be proved by nubmer of internal and foreign tourists.
