KYJEV - Ukraine Travel Market 2005

In 5th - 7th October 2005 the most important Ukraine exhibition of tourist trade was held. It was called "Ukraine 2005" and it was held under the auspices of State Tourism Administration of Ukraine and with support of WTO and ETTFA. It was the 12th unit of this international exhibition. There were more than 700 firms of tourist trade from 30 countries and among them also Bardejov in collaboration with the Assosiation of Tourist Trade of Upper Saris Region.

Our exposition enriched the stand of SACR (Slovak Agency for Tourist Trade). We shared the stand (with area of 130 square metres) with Low Tatras and High Tatras, Liptovský Mikuláš, Prievidza and Veľký Meder, hotels of SOREA and SATEL, Smižany and Aquacity Poprad. The biggest favour was over winter stays, stays for children, relaxation stays, active vacation, spas, historical monuments, towns, castles and manor houses, caves, cultural undertaking, aquaparks and accommodation facilities.

Tourist Information Centre - HERKULES in collaboration with travel agency BB-TOUR offered advertising sources to internal and foreign visitors. These sources were about Bardejov and ist surroundings, about possibilities of accommodation, possibilities of meals, of winter attraction and trips. Bardejov interpreted itself at this exhibition to another potential clients, visitors and tourists who gave an indication over our region. We hope they will visit our town in the near future.
