WARSZAWA - Lato 2005

In 22th - 24th April 2005 the 10th international exhibition of tourism and relax was held in town´s Sporthall in Warszawa. The exhibition was called "Lato 2005" (Summer 2005). Bardejov and Bardejov spa were presented there in collaboration with the Association of Tourist Trade of Upper Saris region and with Tourist Information Centre - HERKULES. At the exhibition there were more than 200 exhibitors from more than 20 countries from all over the world. Our stand was under the auspices of SACR (Slovak Agency for Tourist Trade) also with towns and regions of Terchová, High Tatras, Liptov, Piešťany, Bojnice and with Aquapark Tatralandia in Liptovký Mikuláš. Other subjects were presented indirectly by advertising sources.

Presentation of folk ceramist Mr. Mihalčin from the village Chmeľová was very interesting. He presented his art live right there. The presentation of product "Gothic Route" was the very news. The visitors of our stand of Slovakia gave the biggest indication over new products of tourist trade, mainly over thermal pools and spas in Slovakia, over possibilities of active spending of leisure time (hiking, skiing, historical monuments, Slovak caves...).

During the exhibition our stand was visited by several reporters from Poland who were collecting information about our region with very big interest. They will interpret these information through media to general public. This exhibition was successful and I hope we will treat our "brothers" Poles again in this summer tourist season.
