Liptovský Ján - Springs and treatment
Svätý Ján spa activities
near a manor house were analyzed and registered between 1945 and 1950,
when the spa springs was judged a ground-plaster, sulfide-carbone,
lukewarm water source. The water was used in the swimming pool, the spa
house baths, and the outdoor pool. The spring water treated:
- digestive problems
- rheumatism
- women´s illnesses
- nervous disorders
- paralysis
- thromboflebitis
The water in Liptovsky Jan Spa was also used to treat:
Another two springs in Liptovsky Jan Spa were indicated for the following illnesses. The Teplica spring, said to have produced ground-plaster, sulfide, carbone water, and the church yard spring were labeled ground-plaster springs. Recent research found that other spring sources were also available. From these, only Rudolf spring and B-1 have been put to use. The latter supplies a new thermal-water area.
