We offer two variants of basic mineral water treatment to clients of our Spa – bath in a pool or in a tub with a dry pack. Whether in a pool or in tub, the bath lasts 20 minutes and it is followed by a dry pack and rest (10 minutes). Relax in the unique mineral water of Dudince full of soft bubbles and let yourself enchanted by tones of relaxation music. Bath has healing effects, as well as the cosmetic ones – your skin will congest and it will be velvety smooth thanks to mineral substances of the water. Your mind will calm down. Mineral water treatment is based on the chemical effects of carbon dioxide and hydrogen -sulphide on the skin, through which they are absorbed into body. Both gases support each other’s effects. Next healing factor is the thermal phenomenon – water is warmed for individual baths in a tub up to 34 - 36 °C , for group bath in a pool it is warmed to 34 °C . Hydrostatic pressure and buoyancy represent mechanical influence of water. Water complexly influences functions of all the organs of the human body. Technical analysis characterizes this water as strongly mineralized, carbonic, hydrogen-carbonate-chloride, sodium-calcium water with increased content of boron, fluorine and magnesium, slightly acid, tepid and hypotonic, with natural temperature of 28.5 oC and the overall mineralization of 5,667 mg/ l. The content of 6 – 10 mg of hydrogen sulphide and 1,400 – 1,800 mg of carbon dioxide per one liter makes the water unique worldwide. Densitometry is a special test, which is not painful, it is precise and it provides results really fast. The possibility of being examined by DEXACARE, the bone densitometer, is offered twice a month in our Spa on the days announced in advance. The examination costs SKK 290 and it is really worth the early identification of the osteoporosis risk. The experts we cooperate with will willingly provide our patients with useful information about how to treat the illness and how to effectively prevent it. Endangered people susceptible to osteoporosis, who are recommended to take the preventive examination:
women over 50 years of age
- people with a log-term shortage of sex hormones
- people with insufficient mobile activity
- people that do not stay enough in the sun
- people, in the family of whom this illness occurred
- people taking medicines for a long time
- people with wrong diet (alcohol, smoking, caffeine)

Water treatment
Underwater massage of the whole body of the whole body combines the effect of a warm bath, massage and active and passive motions. Client lies in a bath tub full of warm water (35 – 37 °C ), therapist massages his/ her body by a stream of water flowing from massage shower head.

The massage is done by our Spa staff and its net duration is 20 minutes. Sparkling bath + admixture is toning and relaxing, it is suitable for weaker clients.Bath temperature is 36 – 37 °C

The procedure is suitable for treatment of arthritis, as well as for the clients after injuries or operations of locomotor system. There is another variation of it - a sparkling bath with admixture – bath salts open skin pores and active substances of healing plants may penetrate into your body.

Scottish shower
this procedure is characterized by alternating application of warm and cold water. The cycle begins with warm water (30 seconds) and continues with cold water (5 – 10 seconds), and it is repeated several times.

Treading bath
Alternative treading bath is a partial bath. Two small tubs are used - one with warm water and the other one with cold water. At the beginning of the procedure, the client steps into the warm water bath and there he/she treads water for 1 minute. Then he/ she steps into the cold water bath and treads water for 15 seconds. And then back to warm water. This repeats 6 – 10 times. The procedure is prescribed with maximum regard to the client’s health condition, reactivity to impulses and his/her mental comfort.Net duration of the procedure is 15 minutes and its major positive effect is to relieve pain.
Whirlpool bath
is a water-treatment procedure applied to arms or legs, or to the whole body. Besides its thermal effect, whirling water gently massages your body. The procedure is suitable for weaker clients, clients after injuries and operations of locomotor system; it is used to treat rheumatism and neurological diseases.

Interdia
it is an electrotherapeutic procedure making use of a special electrotherapy device called INTER – DIA N.S.T., characterized by its exclusive therapeutic possibilities.Interdia uses diadynamic mixed currents – it is an application of galvanic and faradic or impulse current.

The device consists of two electrodes – client holds one moisten cylinder-shaped electrode in his/ her hand, and the therapist applies the second one to the treated part of body to approximately 20 – 30 points.Three programmes are used for treatment – Gentle, Standard and Analgetic. This device is recommended to treat neuralgias, migraines, arthrosis, conditions after injuries and other indications. The procedure is done by a physiotherapist and its net duration is 5 to 12 minutes.
Hydrogalvan
(also called four-chamber bath) is a device that enables in-depth galvanization of certain body parts by means of water electrodes. It consists of generator of galvanic current and water electrodes in a form of four small tubs made of non-conductive material (2 small tubs are for your arms and 2 for your legs). The small tubs are filled with water of 36 °C .The procedure is applied to people suffering from neuralgias, polyneuritis, joint aches and inflammatory diseases of connective tissue. The procedure is done by a physiotherapist and its net duration is 20 minutes.

Paraffin pack is covered by a foil and a flannel sheet. This procedure is applied on places, where it is necessary to use the healing effect of the local thermal treatment.
